about

The first solo album ; there was preparation and assistance from Danish drummer and programmer Rishi, followed by a week in Airplay Studios, Arhus, Denmark. Plus there was additional pre recording in Munich and Amsterdam . Rishi introduced me to many wonderful Danish musicians particularly legendary guitarist, Pierre Dorge. Was one of the first releases on New Earth Records and was reviewed in Q Magazine: "Ravi creates refreshingly different World Music" . Also recorded separately and live in a studio in Devon: "So Much Magnificence" with Miten , who many years later went on to record the first definitive version with musical partner Deva Premal. There is a version (now called Waves Of Love) on Songs For The Golden Age with new lyrics via this link: ravi2.bandcamp.com/track/waves-of-love
